Emotions and Expectations

If there is one thing I have learned this summer, it is that both emotions and expectations need to be kept in check if I am to progress in my weight loss journey. I must learn to keep my focus on things that matter, and let the rest fall by the wayside. I can’t allow what others are thinking or doing to distract me. This is such an important principle, and for me, essential to recovery from food obsession.

I will be working on this through September.
